A King Hose Nipple Fitting is a Type of Plumbing or Pipe Fitting that is Used to Connect Two Sections of Threaded Pipes or Hoses Together. The King Nipple Pipe Connector has a Male Threaded End on one Side and a Smaller Diameter, Unthreaded Section in the Middle, Followed by Another Male Threaded End of the Other Side. The Unthreaded Section in the Middle is Often Referred to as the "Nipple" and is Typically used to Provide Additional Support or Reinforcement to the Joint.

NPT, BSPT Male Thread is Standard King Nipple Fittings are Available in Plated Steel or Unplated Steel. The Plating Prevents Rust and Weathering. King Nipple Fittings can be Installed Directly on the Equipment and Then Slide the Hose onto the Stem to Eliminate the Need for a Female Swivel in Permanent Installations. King Nipple Pipe Fittings are Recommended for Low-Pressure Discharge and Suction Service for Compatible Liquids. They are NOT for Compressible Products such as Air or Nitrogen King Nipple Fittings are NOT Recommended for Steam. The Working Pressure May Vary with the Construction of the Hose, The type of Clamping System Used and the Application. According to R.M.A.'s Announcement on Suction and Discharge Hoses, The Connection length of any Size Hose Should be Tested at 1/2 Times the Working Pressure and Kept for 15 Minutes without Leakage or Coupling Movement.
