Slide Nut and then Sleeve on Tube. Threaded End of Nut Facing the Fitting Body. Insert Tube into Fitting Body. Be Sure Tube is Bottomed on Body Shoulder. Lubricate Threads and Assemble Nut to Fitting Body. Tighten Nut Hand Tight. From that Point, Tighten with Wrench Additional Turns as follows by Size: 1/8" to 1/4" - 1-1/4 Turns 5/16" - 1-3/4 Turns 3/8" to 1" - 2-1/4 Turns E at the End of a SKU means Economy Pattern. These Fittings are Interchangeable with Full Pattern Fittings, but Have Been Modified in Some Way. Usually in the Length of the Pipe Threads. Used in Plumbing and Light Industrial Applications. Pressures @ 73°F 1/8" to 3/16" - 400 psi 1/4" to 5/16" - 300 psi 3/8" to 1/2" - 200 psi 5/8" - 150 psi 3/4" - 100 psi 7/8" - 75 psi Temperature Range -65° F to 250°F Limiting Factor May Be Tubing Temperature Range. |
