Polyseal U-Cup

Polyseal U Cups are a very versatile reciprocating seal design, for use up to 5000 psi.  The rubber expander creates a compression style seal while still operating a a pressure actuated U cup design.  The result is better low pressure sealing and less startup leakage.

Glands must be a minimum of 110% of the height used.  Free space is necessary to allow for the thermal expansion of the seal material and swell due to the effects of the system fluids.  Pressure must be able to contact both sealing lips.
